Died 1784 in Glascow,Ky on the way to present day Nashville to live with his daughter. This Lewis married Elizabeth Lauderdale about 1750 in Botetort ,Va. Lived along the Clinch River around Blackmore Fort. He and Elizabeth had the following children: Lewis,Jr married Elsther Kilgore 2) Elizabeth married Moses Foley 3) Thomas married Mildred Appling 4)James,Sr married Jane Porter 5)Zachariah married Sarah McKain 6)Sarah married Josiah Payne 7)Nancy (my 4th great grandmother) married Peter Hutchinson 8) John married (?) 9)Jesse married (?) 10)Jemima married Benjamin Nicholson 11) Fredrick married (?) I know his son Lewis,Jr had a son named Burwell. Most info I've seen has MY Lewis' parents as Lewis Green /Suzannah Griggs. Some say Lewis Green and Frances Gilliam ,and Lewis and suzannah as his grandparents. My Nancy and Peter Hutchinson named a daughter Suzannah. Your info has a Lewis Green born in ENGLAND in 1725 and DYING in Prince George Co and wife being Suzannah Griggs! Now I'm confused! I know my Lewis married Elizabeth Lauderdale that HAS been confirmed and verified and he was born 1725 in Prince George Co. Any thoughts? Billie C.
