GREEN, DOUGLASS, STOCKWELL & TARBOX My G-Grandfather, Gardner, was born in Kirkland in 1839, was the son of John Green and Martha Douglass (per his Death Cert.). The Will of John Green of Kirkland lists his wife as Eunice Stockwell. John married Eunice in 1850 (both were over 50yrs old). This leads me to believe he was married first to Martha but no proof yet. Children listed in the Will were Mary Ann, married to William H TARBOX, and Edward C Green. No mention of Gardner Green. This could be due to the fact that Gardner was living in Michigan in 1876 when John died. A John GREEN is listed in the 1840 census, none in the 1850 census and listed again in 1860 with Eunice for Kirkland. Any help appreciated. Bob Green
