I'm curious,a lister recently sent me a coper of the draper manuscripts that have the story of my 6th great grandfather,Lewis Green,Sr who married Elizabeth Lauderdale.most of the collection of letters has him living around in this area and the bear attack occuring around here.I had believed he and Elizabeth lived and stayed for awhile in Va,so this threw me off. Think the Greens you memtioned could be related? I'm still trying to pin point his family and parents. Billie C.
