    3. I wish to make myself clear. I have absolutely no problem with the terrorists attacks being discussed on this list, or with people sharing their thoughts and feelings. It is, indeed, genealogy in the making. I do, however, have a problem with forwarded emails, those which are passed on indefinitely at the request of the original author. These emails, although they may have started as fact, do not contain all of the facts, and only serve to upset and frighten people. The authors of these items usual have a personal agenda. This not only pertains to stories about company policies regarding flags, but viruses and other types of warnings. For instance, I received the same hoax two December's in a row. Word for word, even though the sender claimed it was new. It was regarding woman at shopping malls being lured by men into helping them with something at their vehicle which was parked far away, etc. etc. Claimed it was happening at all malls, and the email was distributed by Penney's. A total hoax. While there are probably isolated instances of such, I work at a mall in a large city. No woman with a half a brain would fall for any of the schemes mentioned. Besides, this was not distributed by Penney's. A simple warning to women--and men alike-- to not fall for what sounds like pleas for assistance when there are mall security, etc, to help would suffice. Enough said. I hope I made my point. I do not forward any of these things that come my way. I reada all of the posts to the list, including the ones relating to the recent attacks. I understand the need to discuss it, and will lend my computer "ear". Joni Vella
