Supposedly I am related to a Daniel Greene, who was possibly a relative of General Nathaniel Greene. But, in checking the website dedicated to the General, I find that there are no Greene's descended because he daughtered out. But, my source says Penelope was a niece or grandniece of Nathaniel. I have not proven this and am struggling to find proof. Penelope Greene (father was Daniel Greene) was born in Hamilton County, FL in 1819 and married John G. Bell. They moved to Bellville, TX where they both are now buried. If you have any information connecting your Daniel Greene with your Daniel Greene, I would love to hear about it. A word to other listers -- instead of just privately communicating with others researching your line, could you please post to the list also. I would like to see your information posted so I can see if I too have connections.
