    1. Tidbits from Laurens County Trip ieTenn connection/Gen Nathan Green/Connecticut/Mississippi/Wood
    2. Sports Law
    3. I am still going through all the wonderful Green sites, but I want to throw some info out that I got today in Laurens County, SC to see if anyone connects. David Green (late 1700s and 1800s) was a line from Laurens County, and went to Warren Co Tenn, who lived next door to Elias H. Green. David may be Reverend. Some connection to Chichester Matthews and Wolcot of Kentucky. George W. Green from Laurens married Nancy Mahem Dec 1855 Pentetoe Co Miss. General Nathan Greene brought his Army of Regulars to Star Fort May 22, 1781, troops were from Connecticut, Pennyslvania, NC, and Virginia. Listed on the 1840 Census of Pensioners NC William Wood Sr. and George Green SR. Buried Liberty Springs Presbyterian William Green 29 Dec 1788 - 17 Jan 1851 Frances 29 Aug 1790 - 15 Oct 1850 WW 10 FEb 1825 21 Jan 1845 A major connection made for myself was that W Wood Green is my Great Great Grandfather, 1880 Laurens Co census shows he was born in Connecticut, but ???? Thank you Tammy Lynn Collard

    3. Is anyone on this list connected to the Green(e)s from the area around Jackson County NC? The 1880 census shows a Leander married to Agnis, living with them are daughters Rhoda, Loucy, Lavada, Ema and sons Robert, James, Jerimiah and a Grandson Christopher. I believe there was also a son named Silas who is not living there. I have seen where the above James is the James who died in Union County SC 10-2-1935. Thank you very much Tammy Lynn Collard

Their first 7 children were born in SC, last three born in GA. While researching my line I found ( I think) William 1840 and his eldest son Nathan 1860 in Laurens County SC. 3. For anyone looking for a soldier who served in the Civil War I have a web site that makes it easier: www.itd.nps.gov/cwss or you can go to the Miss. UDC website and click on "selected links" and get there- www.mississippiudc.homestead.com.
