Greetings list, I've been monitoring this list for several years now trying to find people that are looking for Comer Clement Clay Green/Greene. I'm heading back to Atlanta so I'll be trying once again to find his family grave site. Does anyone out there know exactly where it is? I'm told by an article on him in the Atlanta Constitution that his family grave is near the Fulton County airport. Supposedly, it is also the site of a memorial for Alston Hunter Green. Does anyone out there know direction to these family grave sites? Thank you for any help or information that you can provide Richard Hunter Greene

Searching for ancestors and descendants of Sarah Green, b l8l8 Indiana, who married William H. Jackson, b ca l8l5 PA. They m. 11 JAN l838 in Clark County, Indiana, and I think that their children's names were: Andrew A., Melissa, William A., and Sarah. But these children's names might not be correct or complete. I believe that her husband, William H. Jackson, is a son of my ancestor, Robert Jackson, Jr. b l775 in Fayette Co., Pa to Robert Jackson, Sr. and Mary Henthorn. Were is Kirkland?? I have a John Green in my family 1800's, California!!!

Does anyone have information on this family? Or these other families? GREEN, DOUGLASS, STOCKWELL & TARBOX My G-Grandfather, Gardner, was born in Kirkland in 1839, was the son of John Green and Martha Douglass (per his Death Cert.). The Will of John Green of Kirkland lists his wife as Eunice Stockwell. John married Eunice in 1850 (both were over 50yrs old). This leads me to believe he was married first to Martha but no proof yet. Children listed in the Will were Mary Ann, married to William H TARBOX, and Edward C Green. No mention of Gardner Green. This could be due to the fact that Gardner was living in Michigan in 1876 when John died. A John GREEN is listed in the 1840 census, none in the 1850 census and listed again in 1860 with Eunice for Kirkland. Any help appreciated. Bob Green

Betty, there are several thousand Nataniel Green(e)s born since the begining of time. :-) Do you happen to have any birth/death dates for him...or maybe the names of his children? I figured that it was about time that i gave my info on my Nathaniel Green and see what comes up. It seems to me that there are a lot of us out there searching for one Nathaniel Green(e) or another and his lines. She as buried in International Falls, Koochiching County, Minnesota. They had six children (as far as i know). 1)M Thomas? Speaking of the monied Greene's, I picked up a probate for Gardner Greene (from the Rockingham County, NH Probate office at Brentwood, reel 41 #12586), who d. 1833 in Boston. He willed his wife, Elizabeth Clarke Geene $20,000. Names are very hard to read by he mentions a sister-in-law Mary Copley, a niece Ann Reading Greene, a niece Lucretia? Chandler, wife of Peter Gardiner Chandler, niece _____ Rose Smith, niece Lucretia Catherine Timmons? Blanshard, wife of Joshua P. Blanshard; "to Harry, my mulatto man now to be manumitted and to received $60 yearly," he refers to his friend the Honorable Samuel Hubbard, and several relatives names I just can't read. Does anyone recognize this family? Not my line!

Here is my contribution to the Gen. Nathaniel Greene info: Gen. Nathaniel Green, b. 07 Aug 1742, d. 19 Jun 1786, m. Catharine Littlefield. He left a widow and five children. He was buried at the cemetery of Christ Episcopal Church, Savannah, GA and in 1902 re-interred under the Green monument in Johnson Square. She then married (2) Phineas Miller in 1814.
