He would have been born around the 1920's maybe New Jersey. His mother passed away either by giving birth to her twin daughters, Doris and Dorothy, or shortly after they were born. His dad then gave them up for adoption I think. I believe Donald was raised by someone with the last name Gayheart?. Donald was in Santa Maria, CA around the 1950's and had 5 children there. He then went to Orange County, CA and married someone by the name of Shirley and they had 2 children, a boy, Michael, and a girl, name unknown. He has passed away, but not sure when, I think in the 1990's here in California. Any information would be appreciated. Does anybody have info on John, a commercial traveller, who married Ruth (nee SCOTT) GREENE or their children? My ancestor, William Scott GREENE, was born at Kingstown c. 1832 I have nothing further on his family so any help would be gratefully received. Thanks, Cynthia Glover.

Hello List, We have been working on my computer since I returned to town on Thursday, seems that six innocent people sent me the Worm Badtransll 32.exe and the PST Hooker Trogan, which in turn may have infected others at random in my address book. I was running Notion Anti virus and I updated it often. It did not pick up anything!! I have put AVP in my computer. I am not here to argue about which program is better then the next, but I just learned a hard lesson. My main reason for being on here is to say I am sorry to anyone who I may have sent this virus unknowingly to. Please forgive me and I am virus free now. I wish I would have listen to my husband tell me a year ago to put in AVP-Antivirus Program. They give a 30 day free trial, at Kasperkey.com. And to those who sent it to me, I hope you got it fixed. I know it was written in Russia. So forgive me and remember, I am not the only one who could or has sent this virus, my anti virus gives me the names of the infected people who sent it to me. So if you have a good anti virus, it would in turn pick up my name if I sent it out. So back to my history!!! Forgive Me!! If it was me!!! Sincerely Kathy

Hi Listers I put on a newer version of Family Tree Maker today. My problem is that the names do not show up on the side tabs. I can click on the tab and it goes to the right family, but no name of parents or siblings appear on the tabs down the right side of the family page. What did I do to turn off those names--and how do I get them to show up again? I thought that this list was for genealogy not for viruses. Worms attached themselves and send themselves out to everyone on your email addresses book. The people who get worms don't know they have them. Can we please just email the person you got the virus or worm from and let them know not the whole list. I thought this might help someone so I am sending the information along to the list. There is a patch that will take care of the problem if you are using Outlook Express. Since I downloaded it I have not received any more of the virus. Janine - agreed that this list is for genealogy - but it is thanks to the postings on the lists that many of us were saved from opening a virus. Most of us received the viruses from other list members - I have received it 16 times in the past two days, and every one of them has been from another Rootsweb list member - not a single one from any one else who emails me outside of Rootsweb. I'm very appreciative that enough people stepped forward to forewarn us. Letting only the person whoh sent the virus know they have sent one would not have saved the rest of us. Now, that being said, I guess it's time to get back to hunting down Greenes and Greens! I also received the virus from Kirby's computer and McAfee caught it.

a James Walker on this list just sent me a virus,,my Norton isolated it.

I have just received an email from Kirby Green that contained the ME_NUDE virus attachment. Luckily my Norton caught it. Just thought you'd would all want to know.
