These awards weren't always published in the London Gazette, however in this instance he appears on page 4530 of the London Gazette of 15th April 1918, towards the bottom of the left-hand column: -------------------- <http://www.gazettes-online.co.uk/archiveViewFrameSetup.asp?IssueNumber=30631&pageNumber=10&SearchFor=&PageDuplicate=n&selMedalType=&selHonourType=> War Office, 15th April, 1918.
