<<I feel obliged to sympathise yet again with the long-suffering Claire, who is probably getting exasperated with all of this>> It seems to me that the 'long suffering Claire' is the only one who has no need to suffer, having the power, as list administrator, to hire, fire and set the boundaries - it's 99% of the other members who have to put up with what they get. It would be reassuring to know that Claire is still out there and active, as the list does seem to be roaming free at present, and the only way seems down.
