    3. Hello, I have spent a great deal of time over the years trying to find which Regiment my father served with during WW1 but unfortunately his records did not survive. Examination of the Medal Index would suggest that he was with either the RFA or the RAMC. Recently I came across a snippet of information about Earl Lascelles being rescued from the battlefield at Ypres and it triggered a memory of my mother telling me that my father had been somehow involved in a similar situation and I can see that if my father had been in the RAMC it is quite possible that this would be why he was involved Can any historians within the List tell me when and where Earl Lascelles was wounded. This information would perhaps give me a lead into the War Diaries of the time. Regards, Ray, Wirral
