Thank you to Forrest Anderson & to Derek Driscoll (who responded off list) to my request for information on Captain Beauchamp Proctor. I'll pass the information on to the Old Boys Union of his old school, SACS in Cape Town, this week. I know that the archive section of the schools history society will find the information of interest & store it in the school's archives for use at the appropriate time.
