Hello all, I am frequently impressed by the depth of knowledge of many of the contributors to this list and their willingness to help. I am now appealing for some pointers about where I should look. I am trying to trace the award of an ARRC to Nurse Anne Ross, probably in the period 1914-1917. The London Gazette have put many decorations on the internet but not the ARRC. On the medal cards I have found a card with the notation "Nurse A Ross" and a pencil note "Hospital Ship". I had not had any previous mention of hospital ship service, and there had been a presumption that the award had been made for hospital services at Aldershot. Where do I go from here? Many thanks to all who think they might give me a clue. Jim
