My search continues for any information on my great-uncle, Joseph J. Michael from Baltimore. He was in the Army twice, the first time from 1909-12 and again during the Great War 1917-19. He was in Company F of the 33rd Engineers, and according to the Order of Battle, they left Hoboken for France, but there is no other information. As stated earlier, NARA will release WWI records only to immediate family (who are all dead). Does anyone have information on the places of service of 33rd engineers in Europe? Dos anyone have any photos of the 33rd, which might include Joseph Michael? Photos might have been taken at Fort Devens, Mass., Hoboken Port of Embarkation, England, France, or elsewhere. I would gladly pay for any copies or duplications of photos or other materials. David Crider Birmingham, AL --------------------------------- Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection.
