    1. [GRAINGER] Grainger ancestry
    2. My grandmother was Rosaline Emily Grainger. She was born in London or one of the home counties sometime in the 1880s. Her father was called Robert and her sisters included Emily and Violet. My mother told me once that Rosaline Emily was a cousin to the composer and pianist Percy Grainger so Robert Grainger should have been Percy's father John Grainger's brother. Does anyone know anything about this family? I believe they came to the London area from County Durham sometime in the nineteenth century and that they are related to the Newcastle builder Richard Grainger. > -----Original Message----- > From: Danby648@cs.com [SMTP:Danby648@cs.com] > Sent: 06 June 2000 02:48 > To: GRAINGER-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [GRAINGER] Re: Posting How To: > > Hello all! > Just a little reminder on how to post your message to our list.
