I think that John suffered a fire and tryed to restart the foundry he must have overextended his money and was unable to pay off the debets the records show that he had 2 colored ladies that also where part of the accests . some of the others searching are Ann Marie Earley Kendall ,Mary Young, Jean Block, Chris falter,Jody Herring, Nancy Linder,Mike Curry, Jean block is the grand daughter of Mildred Edmonia her line runs to Andrew Jackson Curry. Jody desendes from Hugh Curry,s dau Viola Curry Moore are his g grandparents I have worked with Tom Netherton who is probley your cousin? Gary has done a lot of work on Cora Curry and went to chapel hill to explore her 5o! some odd boxes of family info My wife went into a nurseing home in June 2007 and I spend 2 to 3 hours every day visting her. Have not been able to do any research this past year. Tom Love and Ann Kendal posted apx 1237 names on the roots webb site I think it is under Samuel and Elizabeth [Stone Love Descendants in Sundays newspaper a house on Ransdell ave is listed as sold with a photo and price I think it was a couple of houses down from Lee,s in his info at the filson, it has his mother as Elizabeth Ann [grainger] Curry was this a type o ? when I place the marker on Johns grave I had the head stone of Hughs grave cleaned and I noted that the grave marker said Mary Ann and his S A R application states Mary Ann ?
