William and Elizabeth were parents of my grt-grt-grandmother Mary Ann Grainger Curry (1835-1910). William seems to have been a co-owner of Joseph Metcalf's brewery from 1844 to 1854, when it went by the name Metcalf & Grainger. In 1860 William - still listed as a brewer - was living in a boarding house in Louisville without his wife, so maybe they divorced. I can't find any more info either. Best, Jonesy.
