Apparently he was the only child and his parents Joseph George & ??? were killed when he was an infant. He was raised by his aunt and her husband. (names unknown) In 1892 he married Alice Eliza New in Walthamstow, Essex, England. They had 5 children, Margaret, William, Lillian, Ada & Ruby. William Sr. worked as a clerk in London and contributed to a fund so that when he died my great aunt Ruby was sent to a boarding school in Perly, Surrey. In 1908 at the age of 46, he died and was buried in Chingford Mount Cemetery. His wife, Eliza and children, Margaret, William and Ruby all came to Canada after Ada died in England in 1919. Lillian stayed in England and married 1) Arthur Udall & 2) Victor Gaylord/Gaylor. I have a good account of the branches that came to Canada so am concentrating on the Graingers in England, then and now. Thanks for any leads at this time as I am at a standstill
