There is quite a bit of confusion on the Grainger side of the family. My great grandfather was William Jutland Clarke Grainger, who moved to Australia at the age of 2 in 1920 or 1921. His 2 Sisters were Elizabeth Annie and Lily (who sadly died of a hole in her heart aged 4 or 5. Their parents were William Grainger and Elizabeth (or Eliza) Boardman. William Grainger died in 1965 and I think, but am not sure, that he was born in 1890. It is known that his family lived in Wade Street, Stockton-on-Tees, and I know of a sister named Elizabeth (Cissy). The problem is I cannot find him in the Census reports. There were two Grainger family's living in Wade Street. I'm not sure if the heads were brothers, or different family's, but the family I am looking at, Thomas H. Grainger was born about 1845 in Barraby and Sarah A. Grainger was born about 1870 in Llastwick, Norfolk. I am not sure if these are actually related to me though. Thank you and Regards, !
