I don't know all the details (they're on my parents computer), but I know William Grainger left Holywood, N. Ireland in 1843-ish and settled in the Bruce-Grey county area of Ontario. I'm positive that the next generation married a Sarah Ann Page. My father's father was Mervyn Grainger (b. 1900-10?). He married Dorothy Franklin (b. 1914-ish?).
