I am new to this list, but am a member of several others and have found them all to quite helpful. So I am hoping I will be able to connect with someone who can help me out with my latest brick wall. I am looking for information on Caroline Hamblet, nee' Grainger, b.abt 1821 in Kates Hill, Dudley, Worcestershire, Eng. She married Joseph Hamblet on 3 Dec 1837 in Kingswainford, Worcester (?) England. Caroline's father's name is James Grainger and I have no other information on him. One of Caroline and Joseph's daughters (Sarah Hamblet Brant) second husband was a David Grainger b. 1836 in Netherton, Worcester. This family (Hamblets) seemed to intermarry quite a bit. I have several cases of cousins marrying each other so it is possible that David, Caroline and James are all related some how. I would be delighted to hear from anyone who may have info on this or a related family. Caroline Allen-Martin
