    2. Great to see the lists are back up and running!!! AOL was not letting me get any email from any list prior to shut down and revising of the mail lists.Seems Aol had a filter of some sort which had been stopping all my lists for around 2 years or more.(Treated it as spam) My James Grace was in Wayne Co NC his daughter Elizabeth(maybe Harriet Elizabeth or Elizabeth Harriet) married Kinchen Britt son of Henry Britt and Ann Best Britt. He was a blacksmith and after he died there were lawsuits etc. While I am pretty much up to date on my James from later 1700's, I am still interested in a definite name for his wife and a marriage record. The marriage could have occurred in one of the extinct counties. I do know her first name was Mary and possibly she had been a Fairchild or Faircloth prior to marriage. This little bit comes from some depositions made in the suits. Maybe someone will have a little more info as to who she might have been. Thank you in advance [email protected]

    3. Hi Mark, I'm sorry to say that none of my GRACE"S made it out of County Tipperary. My maternal great, great grandmother (Mary CALLANAN) married John GRACE in 1839, Beyond that, I have zip nada, I wish you good luck, You might start with your parents birth/death certificates and go backward from there I had to start with my own birth certificate...(in the 1980s) Ancestry has a lot of information on line that they didn't have when I started searching. I had to write letters and enclose SASE with each one supplying information that I was seeking.! And it took several weeks (and money) to get anything useful. 3. Hi Bonnie, I am after Grace's from the Tipperary - Limerick border area. I see your marriage in Thurles in 1839 and then a long gap and then 5 children: Pierce 1850; John 1855; Patience 1856; Walter 1861 and George 1865, all in Thurles. I am after a Mary Fitzgerald daughter of a Mary Grace, and it seems that Murroe is their home parish. I can't find marriages for either. I have even tried to track which Grace branch may have been in Murroe but find nothing.
