    3. "Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued." That's tomorrow. Last one out, turn off the lights? The GRACE mailing list has moved to a new server! But I cannot move your subscription, you'll need to add yourself to the new location, here: https://groups.io/g/grace-genealogy Go there, and you'll see either a button that says "+Join This Group" (click on it) or near the bottom of the page "You are subscribed to this group". Or send a message to [email protected] Or drop me a note. Tell me you're a GRACE researcher (this is not the only list I admin). While I canNOT add you, I CAN send you an invitation! 3. Hi Bonnie, I am after Grace's from the Tipperary - Limerick border area. I see your marriage in Thurles in 1839 and then a long gap and then 5 children: Pierce 1850; John 1855; Patience 1856; Walter 1861 and George 1865, all in Thurles. I am after a Mary Fitzgerald daughter of a Mary Grace, and it seems that Murroe is their home parish. I can't find marriages for either. I have even tried to track which Grace branch may have been in Murroe but find nothing. 3. Ancestry took most of RootsWeb down a few months ago, due to security concerns, but is slowly bringing the site back online. They've been posting status updates here: http://home.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ So ... yes, this mailing list is alive again, and a most excellent place to share queries and results from research about the GRACE surname. Not only is the list alive, so are all the others, and running on upgraded Mailman 3.0 software. If you set up an optional mailing list account, you can control all your mailing list subscriptions in one place. (Only list admins are required to have a mailing list account.) Information on setting up an account is here: http://home.rootsweb.ancestry.com/listindexes/setupmail If the page won't serve, try later ... the system has been somewhat overloaded as they bring it back online. My Graces, by the way, came to Oregon in the 1930s from Wyoming, and before that lived in Tennessee and Missouri. Karen

    3. Greetings Listers. Does anybody have in their research a Grace family in New Zealand in the 1850’s? There were four members, Mr and Mrs, and daughter and son (names not known). They worked for a sheep farmer Michael John Burke at Halswell near Christchurch in the early part of the decade and then moved to South Downs (now Raincliff), near Timaru, when Burke leased that block. Thanks and best wishes. Rod Smith. Wellington, New Zealand.

    3. Does anyone have current contact information for Merwyn Grace? He lived in Gower, Missouri 20 years ago, wrote the book about the descendents of John Grace who died in Ray County, Missouri in 1882, and I think would be in his 80s now. He might even be subscribed to this list. (Yo, Merwyn???) Thanks! Karen Isaacson Leverich [email protected] P O Box 5107 San Luis Obispo, CA 93403
