As I've mentioned once before, we have some Goren's in our line - descendants of John Gorin of here in Barren Co and his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Turpin Duval - through their son Rowan Turpin Duvall and his wife Nancy James - through their son James S Gorin and his wife Sarah Ellen Rogers. It was here that the name Gorin became changed to Goren accidentally. James S had three sons, one of whom was John Rogers Goren who married Frances Conard. One of their sons was Bryce Goren. On the MO death certificates I cited yesterday, is found: Bryce Goren July 26, 1923 Jackson Kansas City Frances Goren February _, 1941 Jackson Kansas City These are not available on line yet but are orderable for $1.00 each from MO State Archives. I already have an order in for 5 other certificates and can't order any more until I receive these (which might take awhile, it's a new service) ... then I'll order these. Making progress!
