A short article on one of our Gorin clan from Tazewell Co IL - I have more to send, but am slightly tired tonight. My daughter's wedding is Monday and I helped her over in Campbellsville in 94 degree temp unload a huge chunk of her apartment. People from her church (the one her hubby to be pastors) are there now with trucks and cars and cleaning the rest out and she's out of there and on her way back home under wedding day. I don't know how large families do it .... Anyway, after a respite from the wedding - I'll send some more data along - have some really interesting things! Sandi Tazewell County Reporter, Washington, IL, May 3, 1928, Page 1. MISS ELIZABETH GORIN SUFFERING FROM A STROKE OF PARALYSIS Miss Elizabeth Gorin suffered a stroke of paralysis on Monday. She has since recovered somewhat and while one side is affected it is hoped that she will gradually recover the use of her limbs. Miss Gorin lives in the old homstead place of her father the late John G. Gorin, with her sister, Miss Nellie. The family is one of the oldest and best known in our city and they have the sympathy of the community.
