A short note. I'm on my way to the hospital in an hour; Kris is having surgery this morning at 9:30 central. It was found yesterday that she also had to have her gall bladder removed as well as the surgery to install a port {not the official name) for dialysis in her stomach. She was doing fine emotionally until last night when she broke down - everyone had gone and it hit her. I talked with her until the late hours last night to calm her fears and tears. Please remember her especially during this surgery this morning and during the recovery period - then as she begins learning how to use all the equipment, etc. I will try to post a short note when I return.
