    1. SOME NEAT STUFF!
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. While fighting heat and humidity and a touch of the flu (yuck!) I have been slaving over a hot computer and am in awe of what I'm finding ... this will refer again to the Henry Gorin line. I mentioned that ancestry.com has been making more and more newspapers available to read on line, for a fee which just was paid for in what I'm finding. There are over 1500 entries on the Gorin family of Decatur with references to the family who went to Memphis, MO (Henry M) and even one reference so far on Bartley William Sr. I have read all but 300 papers (their search takes you right to the page and highlights the name - just takes the time to load the page, magnify it and print it off if you want. I've printed off about 100 pages of most interest. This deals with the following: Jerome Rinaldo Gorin- this the son of John D Gorin. He was prez of the Millikin National Bank, a high ranking Mason, an elder and SS teacher at the Decatur Methodist Church, into each paper! Orville Browning Gorin - son of Jerome Rinaldo - his home is Millikin University's Library in Decatur, he founded the cemetery, the golf club. I've learned of his being hit by a car in Chicago while walking, his MANY trips to Europe to visit a man called Augustin Gorin who he really respected - called him cousin tho they knew of no relationship. Gussie Gorin (love that name!), Orville's daughter - she was a founder of the Whist reading club, on the board of a home for unwed mothers, an avid bridge player and hosted many parties. She was a spinster. Jerome Pugh Gorin - son of Jerome Rinaldo. Went by Pugh a lot. He was an officer of Millikin National Bank, lived in Decatur, Chicago, Orange NJ and NYC. Died in Decatur. Katherine Gorin - dau of Jerome Pugh. I knew very little of her other than she died in NYC. SHe was an accomplished concert pianist, gave concerts all over the USA and was one of the first inventors of the "musical typewriter" which typed out music notes and scales instead of the regular typing. I think some one else perfected this and patented. There are several photos of her - didn't know what she looked like - she was a beautiful woman. Mattie Gorin, d/o John D - spinster. Found she broke her hip, her hospital reports and visits she made to Washington IL to visit her family there. Henry Madison Gorin - s/o John D - who moved to Scotland Co MO. Visits back to Decatur. William Henry Gorin ... have to figure out who this is, there is a William Henry out of the John Gorin line. Henry Claiborne Gorin - this is out of the Gladin Gorin line. Gladden Gorin - could be the bro of the above OR a son of Jerome - more checking needed. General Isaac Pugh - his one page obituary. He was married to Elvira Gorin ... gives all his war records, where all his family lived - fabulous. This is making the family real - not just names on a pedigree chart. If you have a subscription to ancestry.com, it's worth it to get the extended service ... they are adding papers all the time. These Decatur papers range from 1873-1928 and they just added more today! It'll take me another week or so to go thru all the Decatur papers, then I want to start checking the other states where I know our ancestors moved. Great fun! Just had to tell you! 1. Memphis, MO
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. First - I'd like to wish you all a wonderful Fourth of July - Independence Day. We have much to be thankful for! I ordered a book last week called "A Town Called Memphis" by Eugene Dodge, written by Eugene Dodge back in the 1970's. This is the story of Memphis, MO where Henry Madison Gorin Sr and other family members of the Henry Gorin family resided. Mr. Dodge helped me in my early research days. I about fell over when I received it the book - it was only $15.00 plus $6.00 shipping and when it arrived, the mailman had to delivery it separately, it is 908 pages! It is an intense history of Memphis, MO and has a LOT of information on the Gorin family there. While resting today, I am going to go thru the index and pull references I haven't found before from others. Henry M's children married into the Crow, Evans, Martin, Shipman, Stith, and Collins' families, plus you have the Hudnalls (John Darns Gorin Jr) and the Best family. Secondly, and I ran out of printer ink doing this ... ancestry.com has a for-fee service as they are loading images of more and more old newspapers on line. I can barely justify the charge for this extra goodie, but a few days ago, I noted that they had put on a LOT of Decatur, Macon IL. newspapers. Well, our Gorin family is mentioned over 1,500 times! I am only through the first 161 citations. This would be primarily Jerome Rinaldo, Orville Browning and Gussie Gorin, but found information on a few others that I had record of but no data. One being a daughter of Jerome Pugh Gorin. Jerome Pugh, who went by the name Pugh a lot (named for one of his sisters' husbands, General Isaac Campbell Pugh), had a daughter named Katherine. I never could find anything on her. Well, she moved to Chicago IL and was an extremely accomplished pianist ... and put on concerts frequently back in Decatur. There is a lot of trivial information that I love - such as Orville being hit by a car in Chicago back in the days when there weren't many cars, organizations they supported, church work, golfing ... it makes the family members even more real! Gary - I'll get you answered this week ... my 88 yr old Mom took a very bad fall and I've been rather hectic the past coupleof weeks. I'll be starting on the update book on Gladin and Nancy Hinch within the next couple of weeks, another descendant of Tolivar Houghlett/Hewlett just contacted me and is filling in more information. And to all of you, please feel free to post your queries here ... I don't have to be the only one "talking"! Have a happy 227th birthday celebration! Sandi Col. 1. HENRY MADISON GORIN - JOHN DARNS GORIN JR
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. For those of you maintaining records on the Henry and Sarah Pell Gorin line - found some new information. Henry Madison Gorin married Mary Ann Love. We have the data Mary Ann was the daughter of John Love and Elizabeth Ewing. John Love born ca 1784 Tyrone, Ulster, Ireland, died 4 Sept 1818, Louisiana, Pike, MO Elizabeth Ewing b ca 1790 Tyrone, Ulster, Ireland, died Mar 1831 Macon Co IL. John Love was the son of Andew and Sarah Love. Andrew Love b ca 1730 Tyrone, Ulster, Ireland, died 6 May1805 Bullocks Creek, York,SC. It appears then that the Love family and the Gorin family lived in Decatur, Macon, IL as friends or neighbors. When Henry Madison's family left Decatur, they did go to Louisiana, Pike, Mo, and the Love family went to. Then Henry M Gorin moved to Memphis, Scotland,MO and the Love family moved also. And more Irish lines on the Henry side of the family! Now to John Darns Gorin Jr, son of John Darns Sr. On the 1850 Scotland Co MO census, we find the family of Jr's wife, Emily Hudnall. It is spelled Hudnell there (or indexed same). Henry Madison and Mary Ann Love Gorin are living at house 1-1, and the Hudnall's are at house 4-4. It is a very confusing mixed family of whom I don't have them all sorted out yet. Moses L Hudnall was a physician, born VA and was 46. His wife was Minerva ___, age 41, born TN. In their household were: E C Blackburn, 23, female, born TN. I assume this is one of their daughters. Emily Gorin, 22, born VA. This would be Emily Hudnall, wife of John Jr, but she was not born in VA Mary J. Hudnall, 19, born MO. This would be Moses' dau. John R. Hudnall, 15, student, born MO. Moses' son. Sarah M Hudnall, 10, born MO. Moses' dau. Theodore Hudnall, 7, born Mo. Moses' son. Helen V Hudnall, 3, born MO. Moses dau. Venetia Hudnall 1, born MO, Moses' dau. Arabella Blackburn, 2, born MO. Possibly dau of E C above. Laura Gorin, 2, born MO. This was John Jr and Emily Hudnall Gorin's dau. Also please note something that has confused me off and on. One of Henry M and Mary Ann Love Gorin's daus is shown with two names depending on the records searched - Elvira M is the same gal as Maria E. The marriage certificate shows her as E M, the 1850 census shows her as Elvira M, some historical records show her as Maria E. Same gal. James Thomas Crow was a physician in Memphis MO in 1860's, he the husband of Martha E Gorin (d/o Henry M and Mary Ann). 3. Please note the following - Ben found me on the web and sent me the attached photo and some additional info which I will share if anyone is interested: Sandi, That is quite a story on your Max Montgomery and his wife and her story. I don't have a picture of Benjamin Spencer Montgomery, but I do have one of three of his sisters and the girl (Sallie) that married my great great grandfather, Benjamin Spencer's brother Robert. This picture is beat up but it shows Mollie (Montgomery) Everheart, Julia (Montgomery) Everheart, Sallie (Phillips) Montgomery(married to Robert, brother of Benjamin Spencer), and Joan (Montgomery) Jones. Probably taken 1890's in Grayson Co. Tx. Good luck in your research! Ben Cynova Attachment Converted: "C:\EUDORA.1\Attach\1800smollie julia joan montgomery sallie phillips.jpg" Col. 1. HENRY GORIN BOOK DONE
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. Just for your information. I finally got the Henry Gorin Volume 4 book finished ... took me about a week longer than I'd anticipated. It came out about 232 pages plus index and some more photos and articles I didn't mention previously. IF you're a Henry descendant and would like a copy - it'll cost $30.00 plus $3.00 shipping and handling. It'll be soft cover, spiral bound as all others. I copy these books when I receive an order so if you'd like a copy, drop me an email and give me a heads-up please! I'd like to thank all of you who contributed to this book!! Now - Gladin descendants, I'm down to you! I have a hefty supply of new data on Gladin's family and some new pictures. So, please - if you have new information, photos, bios or anything of interest ... please contact me. You can email me photographs if you like or any thing you don't want to send thru the mails. Of all 3 brother's lines, I think more have contacted me about Gladin's line. This will be all the books I'm doing for at least a year, maybe two unless the old pre Fairfax VA family falls in my lap - oh, how I wish. Thanks so much and still digging! Sandi Col. 1. OLD LETTER
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. Mary Lou Prince, who is not on the list, but family, sent me a letter written by Henry Hinch to his brother Benjamin Hinch. As some of you know, the Hinches comes in both the Gladin and the Henry Gorin lines. There is a couple of paragraphs that break me up and, Tom you'll appreciate part of this on the family ties. It was written 22 April 1845 from St. Francisville, LA ... thankfully Henry Hinch was an avid letter writer! "Since my last [letter] to you, I have received letters from Sam's widow (our late Sister Rachel) and from uncle JNO D GORIN. Uncle SANFORD GORIN [he a son of John D] was in bad health, but the balance of our relatives in that section of the country are well. [Note: Sanford and his family were living in Tazewell Co IL at this time, having moved from Vandalia, IL]. James TERRY had removed to that land of promise, "Iowa." [Note: His mother was Catherine Gorin Terry, d/o Henry & Sarah Pell Gorin - he is the one who wrote the letter telling about the Gorin family coming from Wales in the mid 1650's.] Maria Gorin's husband died last month leaving her a widow with seven children. He died clear of debt with something to live on. What multitudes of children those Gorins do have! Uncle John [John D Sr] says that all of his children have left him but John D, the baby, a boy of 16, weighing 150 pounds - Doctor Bartley resides in Louisiana, state of Missouri - Henry [Henry Madison Gorin] lives in Memphis, Mo. And is clerk of both courts. Gladin [not Gladin Gorin, bro of John and Henry, but of the Henry Gorin line] is in St Louis, west side of the upper market - Jerome [Jerome Rinaldo who later became president of Millikin National Bank in Decatur, IL] resides in the neighborhood of Decatur, IL where Elvira also resides. [she w/o General Isaac Campbell Pugh of Civil War fame.] Jerome is practicing law, and is about to get married. Uncle John [John D] is going to have all his children pay him a visit on fourth of July next. I should like very much to be there myself on that day - I have not heard from Gladin for a long time. He generally writes about once a year." "Our cousin, Dr. G. Henry Gorin, resides in Belelfountaine, Choctaw County, Mississippi. He writes me that he is doing a pretty fair business there in the practice of physics. [This is Dr. Henry Hugh Gorin, son of Gladin and Nancy Hinch Gorin. I don't know where Henry the write, got the G initial.] The letter continues with events of the country, epidemics, etc. THis letter and about 8 more will be in my Henry Gorin book - I'm indexing it now. Thought you might enjoy the comments and family tie connections and that wonderful remark about all the Gorin children! But - most of them were female! Sandi Col. 1. A SUCCESSFUL MEETING
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. I just wanted to let you all know that I was able to meet with Ann Gorin Prothro yesterday. She came to Glasgow with some of her Mom's family from Bowling Green, to attend the Glasgow Highland Games. We met at a local restaurant and spent about 3 hours visiting, sharing and having a lot of fun. They had time to run by the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with me where her oldest ancestor, John Gorin, is buried. Ann is a very sweet lady with a lot of interests, including recently, knowing more about the Gorin side of her family! I think this is one of the neatest parts of genealogy, after years of seeing a name - finally being able to meet them. I'm hoping, if all goes well, to be able to meet Don and Peggy Farmer of this list this summer if they can swing down to Glasgow. Don is a descendant of John Darns Gorin, son of Henry and Sarah Pell Gorin. So never give up hope of finding family members or learning more of those in the past! Sandi Col. 3. Having triumphed over the John Gorin Vol 5 book, I jumped right in on Henry and Sarah Pell Gorin Vol 4 - this is "our" line. I am thrilled with the pieces that are falling into place. I have the book done up through waiting for some pictures from one of the family and some scanned pictures hopefully coming in Monday from Memphis, MO. This is an interesting book - it brings in the Clanton Boys at the Shootout at OK Corral in Tombstone, AZ (Tom, you're related!), a couple of passenger steamer ship sinkings with our family on it, Barbara Billingsley, the tv actress and William Penn, founder of PA. I have a lot of maps, plats of early Gorin land in IL and MO, pictures, charts, histories. THis has been fun! Here is a tentative table of contents including the materials I don't have in order yet. 1. It's done!
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. First of all, I wish all of you a happy Memorial Day holiday as we remember those who have gone ahead of us and gave so much to make us free! I have finally finished the John Gorin volume 5 book - all 232 pages of it! I had no idea I had that much new material but want to thank Ann Gorin Prothro and Hal Balthrop for good contributions on their lines and for all of you who provided photographs. A very special thank you to Gary Williams, who despite back surgery (hope you're recovering quickly), sent me a cd chocked pull of pictures and data on his John Rogers Goren line - aka John Rogers Gorin. If any of you would like a copy, I'm gearing up the copy machine likely tomorrow. I gave you the table of contents a couple of weeks ago ... has a lot of photos. I repeated the family tree at the first with just the names and dates on it so you can keep track of the children, grandchildren, etc. I'll be asking $40.00 for the book - including postage and handling. It's up to you, you know I don't push sales on the list. It's here if anyone wants it! Now - I am about 3/4 way done with the next Henry Gorin Volume #4. I need to get the pages together, make headers and index. PLEASE, if you have any pictures you'd like included, bios, etc, could you get them to me in the next two weeks so I can finish up? Let me know if something is coming! Again Happy Holidays ... I'm now going to collapse. Oh - more Gladin Gorin descendants are finding me - lots of new data on this line! See you soon - Sandi Col. 3. Well, 40 lashes with a wet noodle time. I just finished putting together, but not indexing, the John Gorin portion of the new book. However, even in a year I've accumulated too much material and I'm afraid John will have to stand alone. There are 216 pages not counting introduction, table of contents and what will be a big index (I haven't indexed the book yet). By the time I'm done with indexing, it will be too big to go with John's brothers. I would like to personally thank Ann Gorin Prothro, Hal Balthrop and Gary Williams for a wonderful section on their respective lines and LOTS of great pictures. I am putting the table of contents with this post. As soon as I finish indexing, the book will be available and I'm almost 3/4ths of the way through with the Henry Gorin branch of the family tree. 1. Update
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. I just finished making all the updates I have on the John and Elizabeth Franklin Gorin line and am starting to put it together. If you have anything in the way of pictures etal that you've said you can provide - please contact me soon! I won't be sure until I get all 3 sections together (John, Henry and Gladin) if I can fit it all in one book or not. I just don't want to leave your family out if you've said you'd like data in the book! A gal, descendant of our Henry Gorin line, has been furnishing me with copies of some 1840ish letters involving the Hinch family (of course this ties in to Gladin's line too). I'm so excited about them - tells stories of Gladin Gorin Jr's family and Henry Hinch - the latter's family and he on a sinking steamship called "The Warrior" ... luggage rescued by Gladin. Henry Hinch lived in New Haven, IL at the time - great fun! This is what makes history live! And, congratulations to Thomas Bartley Gorin (Henry's line) who is now a member of the SAR! I believe he is the first one to go in on the Henry Gorin line - I know it wasn't easy and want to officially congratulate him! It's always great fun when a single piece of paper can't be found to prove that Bartley William Gorin Jr was the son of Dr Bartley William Sr! But Tom held in and I'm very proud of him! As a reminder - this list is yours too, you can post your queries here safely!!! Hint, hint! Sandi Col. 3. I told our newest lister, Karen, that there's only about a post every once in a while .. so I'm sorry. I told you that I was going to start working on a Gorin book with all three lines. Well, I'm starting, shooting for the end of May for completion. I have to work on it between other jobs of course. I'm starting with the John and Elizabeth Franklin Gorin line as John was the oldest - then move to Henry and Sarah Pell Gorin and then Gladin and Nancy Hinch Gorin. So - if you're a John descendant and have any new information, pictures, biographies, descendants, anything ... let me know now please!!! You can email me data, snail mail me material .... anything you'd like to see in print and be credited with. Thanks to all of you, we may be small in number but we are strong in spirit, right? 1. Mystery Richard Gorin of Waco and Fort Worth
    2. Bob Winn
    3. Hi All. A Richard Gorin appears as a family member of Helen M. Gorin in Waco in the early 1900s. He was listed as a family member in the obit of Albert Gladden Gorin. I don't know who he was and have never found him in any census with Helen Gorin's family. All I know is that he lived in Waco and Fort Worth. Bob Winn

Richard Gorin in TX - Waco I think. He was Albert Gladden Gorin's brother per Albert's obituary!!! Now - I sent out a post some time back on this mysterious Richard - meant to save it but guess I didn't. Who has the info on Richard - is he buried in Waco (or at least TX) ... know I found him on a census report too. Karen is a sweet gal and trying to help all she can - bless her! Sandi Col. 1. NEW GORIN DESCENDANT HAS JOINED THE LIST!
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. You guys know I become rather excited when a new Gorin descendant finds me, and this gal will bring a smile to your face! Her name is Kathy Waligore. She descends as follows: Gladin Gorin to John Henry Gorin Sr to John Henry Gorin Jr to Albert Gladden Gorin and wife Mary Bell Grizzelle to Charles Grizzelle Gorin to Charles Perry Gorin - her father. Kathy is sharing some photos and some of you will really be excited - Albert & Mary Bell and their children (Helen, Hallie and Charles), references to Helen Mariah Dodd Gorin, etc. etc. I told her that all of us on the list here are descendants of the original three brothers and a good batch of people! I'll be updating the website with Kathy's new information as she has time to provide it - and she's most willing to correspond with any of you who are close kin - looking for information on her great-grandmother Mary Bell (Mollie) Grizzell too! Whoopee! Sandi Col. 1. Updates

    3. A couple of years ago, one of our subbers suggested something that made good sense to me. As you know, I have 4 volumes in print on John Gorin; 3 on Henry Gorin and 3 on Gladin Gorin. I have had new relatives of all three lines contacting me almost constantly and have amassed a "getting pudgy" file. The suggestion was that I publish a yearly update (give or take); and I want to re-unite the three brothers' lines so everyone knows more about the original family. So - in a few days I am going to get organized and hope by June to have a new volume of the Gorin family ready - with a section for each of the three brothers. This is NOT a request to order a book - this is a request for any information that you might want to share, pictures, bios, new births, deaths, marriages, schooling, new grandkids, cemetery pictures, etc. It's so important to preserve our family records - we're rather small in the scheme of things and it means a lot that others know who we are! I am sending a carbon of this to a few other Gorin descendants who are not yet on this list ... if they would like to join - believe me it's a quiet list ... maybe 2 posts this year maybe! There's no charge and we're all Gorin kin. To subscribe send an email to: GORIN-L-REQUEST@rootsweb.com and in the body of the email just put subscribe Thanks for you guys being on the list ... anything new for another volume? Sandi

    3. Thanks to a dear friend in Decatur, IL, I have been provided with the following which included a photo of Gussie. During the time I lived 50 miles from Decatur, I was only able to get over there once - was too new in genealogy. Her grandfather Jerome Rinaldo Gorin was a brother to my daughters' line, Jerome the s/o John Darns Gorin. History of Macon County, Illinois and Decatur, Ill. Masonic Lodge records. An only child, greatly loved, well educated and well- traveled. She was always referred to as Gussie Judith in all legal papers. In the "Decatur Grantor/Grantee Records" of Macon Co. Ill. are the following deeds: "Gussie J. from Robert L. Bess & wife, Certificate #413633, dated 9 October 1946, Book 934, page 403. Warranty Deed. Gussie J. from the National Bank of Decatur. Sec. "Miss Gorin Dies at 85, Rites Monday. "Miss Gussie Judith Gorin, 85, a member of a pioneer Decatur family, died at 3:35 pm yesterday in her home at 328 W.Prairie Avenue. "Miss Gorin was born in Decatur, a daughter of Orville B. and Ellen McClellan Gorin. "Her maternalg randfather was an early circuit clerk in Macon County. "The Gorin family had settled in Decatur in 1833, and in 1881 her grandfather, Jerome Gorin, becamse associated with James Millikin in the Millikin Bank. Her father, Orville B. Gorin, was president of the bank from 1909 to 1935 and is well-remembered for his generous gifts to Millikin University. "After the death of her father, Miss Gorin maintained her father's charities, and the library at Millikin University was named for the Gorin family. In 1950 Miss Gorin was honored by the university with the award of an honorary degree of doctor of humanities. "In many cases Miss Gorin insisted her donations be kept anonymous. A chair in business administration at Millikin Unversity was endowed by her family. She alsomaintained the $100 Orville B. Gorin prize for exellence in French. "In 1953 Miss Gorin as elected a trustee of the new Millikin University Corp. by the Illinois Synod of the Presbyterian Church. "Miss Gorin was a charter member and past president of one of Decatur's oldest groups, the Study Club. The club wasorganized in 1901 for daughers of members of the Art Class, a cultural organization. The charter members of the groupmet in 1951 to makr the 50th anniversary of the class. "Eisenhower Friendship. "Miss Gorin had traveled to many parts of the United States and in 1939 spent several weeks in Paris, France, and reported on her return that France "is decidedly worried over the imminence of war." "It was on this trip that she first met Dwight D. and Mamie Eisenhower through her family relationship with Mrs. Jane Howard, wife of Brig. Gen. Edwin Howard, who later served on Gen. Eisenhowerr's North Atlantic Treaty Organization staff in Paris. Mrs.Howard is the daughter of Mrs. Jessie Montgomery of Decatur. "When the Eisenhowers visited Decatur in 1952 while the general was campaigning for election to the presidency, he announced his personal friendship and affeciton for "Aunt Gussie" to the assembled crowd at the Wabash Depot and invited Miss Gorin and Mrs. Montgomery to join him and Mrs. Eisenhower on the special train. History of Macon County, 1975 by O. T. Banton, page 359. "Another very early club, the Study Class, was organized Feb. 11, 1901 in the home of Miss Gussie J. Gorin, by 20 young women, daughters and friends of the Art Class which had been founded 21 years before. The group has directed its efforts mainly to study of history, and in its 75 years has covered history of the people of nearly all parts of the world. The class had as its 1975-76 topic, "The Arab World." In the early years the Art Class and Study Class members were invited to each other's anniversary parties. For many years the Study Class held an annual "Frolic" with the scriipt written by Miss Lillian Crea and Miss Lillie Chadsey - they were called the "Lillies" of the club. Skits in the program were based on the last year's study, and flavored highly with irreverant satire. Mrs. Frank L. Evans, a charter member, lived during that period in the Richard J. Oglesby house on West William St., whaich was built in the early 1870's. Its high ceilings ad spacious rooms were well suited to the staging of such theatricals. Through inviting daughters as new members of the Class, there are now several third generation members. Col. 3. Forgive me - but ... they are thinking the debris came down/is coming down in the Dallas-Fort Worth area - one of my home areas where I have a lot of friends. But my concern is for some of our listers in that area - Sharon and Mina ... write when you can, I know where you live but until they pin point where the debris is coming down and the danger of it - want to know you are both ok - and anyone else - Gary and Martha on my Gorin list ... Bill U - know you're farther north ... but anyone, Jenny R ... check in with me please. I don't want to start a thread but this is a horrible disaster and brings back all the memories of the first loss of a space craft ... Sandi Col. 3. Just wanted to share with you that having the Gorin family tree on line has been a blessing! Thank you Gary Williams for providing more interesting information on your Goren line ... however you spell it, you're family! I've also made contact with one of my daughters' cousins - Christine Roland-Levy of Paris, France. I knew her mother through correspondence and after some web searching came up with an email address on her. She is a physchologist with the Rene Descartes University in Paris! Her late brother was an underwater photographer with Jacques Cousteau ... delighted to make contact. I'm thinking of doing an update of the Gorin family sometime mid 2003 - just new information and photos, etc on all three lines in a concise form. Let me know if this would be interesting. A smaller volume likely! If anyone has heard from Pat Cooper, let me know - I can't get in contact with her and am concerned about her! Take care, Sandi Col.
