The names Samuel Nathaniel Gorham and Lula Mae Gorham don't sound like they're in my direct family line; however, I do believe that, somehow, all the Gorhams are connected in some way. My understanding is that they all descend from Captain John Gorham and Desire Howland. (I could be wrong in that, however, so please don't quote me on that). Besides searching at Ancestry.com, some other places I've found helpful in my own research are FamilySearch.org, Genealogy Helplist, Rootsweb, and USGenWeb.
