Hi All :) I searched the Thomas Gorham, Sr. and Margaret Cotton line for my Sanford Gorham and found he wasn't a part of it. But I've found alot that should be of interest to those of you that are from that family. First, I came across a new search engine that is great. It's called Google.com. Using this search engine, I've found the following articles that might be of use or just entertaining. Check it out. John Gorham This site is a list of letters to a local newspaper in Nova Scotia debating the naming of a new road after Capt. John Gorham of the Gorham Rangers. It has a lot of detail and names and dates in it. Gorum Genealogy A Little Gorum History This page has alot of information found on the Gorham's using about a dozen different spellings. Here's a short quote from the page: "Just to show you what I mean, here are the all the different ways that I have encountered of to spell my last name: Gorham, Goram, Gorum, Goreham, Gorem, Gorim, Gorom, Gorram, Gorrem, Gorrim, Gorrom, Gorrum, Ghoram, Gorrham, Ghorom." This page has a lot of information on Sanford Gorham. In the mean time, I'm still looking for information on Sanford Gorham (b:1812 in KY) and Mahulda Freeman (b:1815 in TN). Married abt 1837. I have their descendants, I'm looking for thier ancestors. Thanks. Paula Gorham Fealko
