He married Sarah Staples on Abt. 1779, daughter of Jacob Staples and Eunice Cady. Children of Ephraim Gorham and Sarah Staples are: Shubael Gorham, b. July 30, 1781, Pomfret, Ct., d. March 14, 1857, Elbridge, Onodaga, N.Y. I am very distantly related to this family and just wanted to share this little bit of information. Joyce
