Gordon. Census reflects he was born abt 1801 in North Carolina. Have not been able to determine who parents might be. William married Margaret Rogers in 1824 in Rhea Co., TN. 2 known daughters were Jane who married W.S. Gilliam and Ellenor (my line) who married Hardin Otha Green in the 1850s. The Gordons and the Gilliams moved to Overton Co., TN in the late 1840s. William B. Gordon was very involved with the Baptist church. He appears to have died in the early 1870s in Putnam Co., TN. Any clues as to his ancestry would be greatly appreciated. Greg
