There is was an Ed Gordon in Morrilton, AR, a lawyer who died a few years ago. His son still lives there and was in the AR Leg. He had a brother who was Lt. Gov. He was a pilot in WW II. Ed's and my line extends back into the Orange Co. NC. We are decedents of William Gordon a Rev. War soldier. William had two brothers James and John. William moved his family to Gallatin Co. IL in 1807 and then in 1815 he moved to Maury Co. TN where his brother John lived. If anyone has any info on the Orange Co NC Gordons or on William in Galatin Co. IL I would appreciate it. John B.
