John Wesley -- There's more recent data our there than this. First there is the series "Maine Families in 1790" by Picton Press which expands on the Census by identifying the various family members with supporting source material. Then there is the "1790 Census of Maine Annotated Edition," also by Picton Press and the Maine Genealogical Society. This also contains an index to Heads of Families in vols. 1 - 4 of "Maine Families in 1790."
