This may be of interest. I do not find this couple in "Alexander Gordon and His Descendants-A Genealogy of the Gordon Family" by Marian Otis. However, I did find this: Aaron Marden, Jr. m. 1st Charlotte Nicholas, three chn. m. 2nd Mattie Arline Royal, dau. of Allon Percy Royal, who was son of Samuel Royal. A.P. Royal said he had a maternal grandmother Gordon from near Augusta. Aaron Marden was son of Abbie Ellen Gordon and husband Aaron Marden.
