Faye, the time period for my Gordons is a bit sketchy. I can give you estimates. Old George Gordon was born ca 1750, location unknown, have been told Scotland. George A. Gordon, his son, I estimate at 1777, George A. Gordon's children: George b 1795 this date is from the census, Samuel 1796 <>, John 1797<>, Jesse 1798 <>, Joseph b 1799, this is also from the census. These are all guesses based on the two census dates I have. What really has me puzzled is why I can find no marriage or baptismal records for ANY of these Gordons. They were Presbyterians.
