Thomas was born ca 1809, near Castle Blaney, Co. Monaghan. Immigrated ca 1833-35 to NYC. Naturalized 6 November 1839 the Marine Court, NYC. Moved to Brooklyn 1840. Was a milkman living on Koscusko St. near Marcy until his death 1 April 1902. He married first Eliza BOYD, she died 25 March 1880 Married second Sarah LORD on 30 November 1881 When he died he was the oldest member of the Franklin Ave., Presbyterian Church. His parents were John GORDON and Margaret McKNIGHT. Possibly brother James born 1821 in Lisdonny, Co. Monaghan. Possible older brother Joseph in US and Naturalized before 1839. Possible brother Samuel, immigrated to US and lived with Thomas in Brooklyn, he later moved to Newtown, Queens Co., NY. He died 26 April 1892, Blissville, Queens Co., NY. Samuel married Mary Ann BOYD ca 1848. Anyone have knowledge of these GORDON's?
