I have always proudly thought I was decendant of Alexander Gordon from Exeter, NH who came from Scotland in 1650. I based this belief on a family book that was handwritten with all the information that I just copied. Lately I have been thinking that the years of births, deaths, etc. don't really work out right. I think its a case of wishful thinking where someone worked from both ends to a questionable middle! Is this line in a web site somewhere that I could check against, or could someone check the Otis book for me? My last seemingly accurate entry is Jonathan Gordon died 13 March 1827 in Henniker, NH.
