Hi; Here are a few details on some Maine Gordons: Joseph Gordon of Biddeford, deceased, represented insolvent. At home of Mr. Amos Gordon in Biddeford; Tristram Jordan, Thomas Cutts, and Samuel Scamman, commissioners (2 Feb 1786 Falmouth Gazette & Weekly Advertiser). March 1, 1870 Eugene W. Libbey, adopted son of William H. Gordon and wife, changed his name to Eugene W. Gordon. place Winn. If anyone has any more info on the Joseph and Amos in Biddeford I would be interested.
