Now that the Gordon List is becoming active, again, here is my group: "John Gordon married Elizabeth Kelley 20 Feb 1840 in County Kildare, Ireland. John immigrated to West Liberty, Ohio, in 1862. Elizabeth and their then 8 sons immigrated on June 14, 1864 aboard the ship City of New York. The family lived in Logan, Champaign, Union & Madison Counties, Ohio. John died in 1879 & Elizabeth died in 1906. The 1870 Logan County census list the children as Martin (25), Patrick (23), Thomas (22), John (19), James (17), Christopher (12), Peter (12), William 10), Mary Elizabeth (my grandmother) 4) & Michael E. (20). My notes list Thomas Gordon's wife as Kate Murphy; James Gordon's wife as Elizabeth __________; Martin Gordon's wife as Margaret G.____________; Peter H. Gordon's wife as Anna Donlan; William Gordon's 2nd wife as Cora Goldsmith; Christopher Gordon's wife as _____________ McNullty; John Gordon's wife as Mary (Gault) Armstrong; Patrick Gordon's wife as Lucinda __________; Michael E. "Barney" Gordon's wife as Nell Donlan and, Mary Elizabeth Gordon's husband was Frank J.
