Earnestine and list, Just because YOU didn't receive any message with an attachment from B. Waltman does not mean that his/her system is not infected with a virus. Educating oneself about the way these virii spread is one link in the chain of stopping and preventing them from spreading further. Many have erroneously thought that they didn't get a virus because when they clicked on the link or opened the file, they got a message saying that the file was corrupt. That message is the virus installing itself onto one's system. These virii infect a system and then send themselves out to others through the messages in the inbox. They do not go to the address book. This latest one is particularly nasty as it actually quotes from messages received. The virus comes from the infected system not some third party sending it out under your name. Outlook and Outlook Express are particularly vulnerable to these infections. Please heed the warnings. Do not open any attachments that you are not expecting. Install Anti-Virus software on your system, run it daily, and update it religiously (at least once a month).
