Hello: I am trying to follow this thread and not sure which of you to ask this question. Do you know anything about the George you show (brother of Zachariah Herndon Gordon, born March.10,1796 in Wilkes CO,N.C. and he died Dec.12,1886), son of Chapman (born 1757) and Charity King? This George is around approximate time I am looking for my George Gordon. My George Gordon died at Fort Hawkins Georgia around 1811 or so, and his birth date is approximated at around 1790. Do you have any info of the above George Gordon?
