He later became a minister. In 1826 he married Malinda Cox and they went to Upson County G.A. to live.in 1840 he moved the family to Walker County G.A. Then in the middle of 1850 he moved to Jackson County Alabama.After the Civil War broke out he and Malinda moved to Columbus G.A.They lived there until his wifes death in1867.Zachariah passed away in Jackson County Alabama in1886.I hope this helps.
