Trying to find Parents, Siblings and where in VA he came from. Also need information on POLLY (WOODWARD) GORDON. She died sometime prior to 1820 when HOWARD remarried. Looking for date of birth, date of death, and where she is buried. Do not know if she died prior to leaving KY, died along the trail, or after the arrival in IN. Any help appreciated. Had the following children: James Thomas Gordon b: Jefferson City, MO. Nov. 16, 1919, d: Sept 13, 1974, Dallas, TX, Lillie Louis Gordon, b: Aug 10, 1921 d: Dec. 16,1992, Norma J. Gordon b:Stoddard, Mo., William R. Gordon b:Stoddard, MO, George Gordon b: Sikeston. My grandfathers parents name we believe is George Gordon, B: Unknown, D: Jacksonville, FL. 1930-35, M:Elizabeth (Betty)? b: Unknown d:Scott County, Mo. Abt. 1893 or 1903 depending on actual birth date of William Reed Gordon. He was thirteen when his mother died. I am told he had a brother by the name of John b:unknown, d: unknown. Information on my grandfather is contradicting. Social Security card has him listed as Will Reed Gordon, aunts birth certificate his is listed as William Reap Gordon, Death Certificate he is listed as William R. Gordon.
