I have been reading messages here for a few months and haven't seen anything to help me on my quest. I thought maybe I should ask for help. I am looking for information about Anderson T. Gordon. He married Clara VanHorne in Jefferson County, KS in 1878 when he was 58 years old and she was 18 years old. All of their 9 children were born in Jefferson County, KS. I can find no trace of Anderson prior to his marriage and so do not know where he was born or who his parents are. He may have had a sister named Lorena E. (Gordon) McDale who died November 27, 1910 in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Does anyone have an Anderson (Ance) Gordon in their records? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Glenda
