My Grandfather was William "Cornelius" Gordon b. 1869 in Louisiana, s/o Thomas Jefferson Gordon b. abt. 1843/45 probably in Alabama. I have no back info on T.J. Gordon. Am looking for his parents and birth-place. I was struck by the name "Cornelius". Ring any bells??? Thanks, Ethel.
