Looking for information on the following family: James Gordon b. 1787 perhaps Warwick, Orange County, New York m. Esther Owens b. 1789 and they removed from Warwick, Orange County, New York in 1823 and located in the southeast section of Wells Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. The Reed family had chopped a fallow of about four acres and erected a log house into which the Gordon family moved into. James was a carpenter by trade, built the Presbyterian Church at Aspinwall (now Coryland) in 1839 for $900. James and Esther Gordon received as members of the church in 1832 when meetings were held before the church was built. James d. 22 Sept 1861 74y 2m 28d (ts) and Esther d. 10 Mar 1864 74y 10m 21d (ts) Coryland Cemetery. Children (incomplete): 1. Sarah Jane Gordon b. 18 July 1808 m. Robert Queal. 2. Elizabeth Gordon b. 8 Aug 1819 m. Hiram Baker. 6. Rachel Gordon b. c. 1822 m. Ananias W. Knapp. 7. son d. 17 Nov 1829 4m 22d (ts) Coryland Cemetery.
