    3. Folks, I believe some of you have not read the new updated welcome message yet. A mere thank you to one person does not need to be posted to a membership of over 300. From the welcome message: * If you MUST send a reply to a query stating that you have NO information do so in private email NOT to the list. Use common sense. If you wish to send a mere "Thank you" send it to the individual in private email. However, if your computer crashed or you otherwise lost your contact info, by all means use the list to re-establish contact with those you are conducting research with. Now, it could be argued that the sender thought they were sending their two word message to the original poster. Again, from the welcome letter posted only days ago: * Become familiar with your email program and it's settings. This list is set up such that when you reply, your message goes to the list. Your email program may be configured to override that setting. Look to see who you're sending your reply to before clicking the SEND button. Please folks, a little common sense goes a long ways, and appropriate posting diminishes the number of these messages from the listowner. David
