Hi Jack, I would really like to have the census info on the Gordon's of Illinois. My Gordon's were also in Clark Co., OH before moving on into Illinois. What time period are we looking at for your Thomas Lake Gordon and who was he married to.....I will try to help. Will check some sources and get back to you. I think the first born son of Mariem and Josiah Gordon was named Thomas, but that is all I know at present. Mariem Gordon, nee Foley moved to Clark County, OH about 1805 with her brother, James Foley and 11 of her brothers and sisters. She was my 4gg-grandmother. Mariam is buried in Clark Co., OH. Josiah died in VA. My 3gg-grandfather, James Wallace Gordon, was the fourth son and fifth child of this couple. Did Thomas Lake Gordon move to Logan Co., IL?
