Dean and Faye Alley; your Gordon family sounds very much like mine. My ancestor was Michael Gordon b 6 Jan 1799 in Scotland and came to Welsh Run, Franklin co PA before 1825. He m Annie Hawbaker from Lancaster co PA and raised 15 children almost all of whom match the names of yours They were in the same state at the same time and gave their children the same names. I always doubted Michael came from Scotland alone Most of his children were born in Greencastle, Franklin co PA. His first child was Elizabeth b 19 Jun 1826 in Greencastle, PA She m Leonard Alleman. The others were Henry, Catherine, Ann, Rebecca, Joseph, Susannah, Mary Martha, Sarah Malinda, John Victor, Daniel Webster, Michael Dallas, Laura Amanda, m John Angle Elliott, (my gr grandmother), Cunningham, and James Calvin. Michael was buried in Cedar Hill cemetary, Greencastle, Franklin co PA, as was his wife Annie Hawbaker Gordom. Earl H.
