I realize the it's truly difficult to trace names that repreat over and over again from one generation to another...it's not often, however, that you find the same exact name w/ approx. date of birth....I, too, am searching for my gggrandfather GEORGE ALEXANDER GORDON! What do you have for siblings...perhaps this one married more than once and he could be mine as well. Have some information that led me to thinking his origin could have been through Canada rather than through the southern links.... What else do you have for Georgie Boy? lol Lyn -----Original Message----- From: Margaret McCleskey <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, July 01, 1999 7:02 PM Subject: Re: My ancestors Colin, Please tell me more about your family. Were they in the U.S.? The forenames you mentioned are very common in my Gordon family. I am stuck with my g-g-grandfather George Alexander Gordon who was born in 1822 somewhere in Georgia. I'm fine from 1850 to the present. It's his parents that I can't find. George was in Scott Co., MS in 1850. Margaret Colin Gordon wrote: > > Not part of my line that I am aware of.
